Class in the summer

Hello:
I want to tell my expectations for this period. First, I would like do well in all my classes, especially in the fields required. Some elective classes are not a priority, because I need to spend more time required. Second, I hope that is not very high stress, since the semester is very short, only a few weeks.
This semester I am taking six classes, three required and three electives. The class I like best is the Research Workshop, because in it I can put into practice everything they learned.
On the other hand, I want to tell you that I dislike having to study in the summer. Difficult to concentrate in the study due to heat. Also, one is accustomed to enjoy the holidays this year, relaxing with his family. But now there is pressure to return to school the next day.

See you.

My favorite place

My favorite place is Chiloé island, because I like nature. I love its wild animals: the chilote fox or Darwin fox, the smallest of Chilean foxes, an animal lives only in this island; the Pudú, the world’s smallest deer; two species of sea wolves (one and two hairs); the Tonina, a specie of dolphin. These are just some of the many animals in this place. Also I love Chiloé’s wild vegetation: the Alerce, the tallest Chilean native tree, that can to live thousands of years; the Arrayán, a red wood tree and very hard. There are many more varieties.
Also Chiloé is my favorite place because it is an island with a culture different from the rest of the country. There are other customs, such as Minga or Mingaco, which is a special type of collective work, whose most distinctive example is the transfer of houses through the use of oxen. There are other types of foods, such as the Curanto, a mixture of seafood and meats cooked in a hole in the ground. There are also buildings that are unique in the country: the palafitos, manufactured houses along the water, on wooden pillars.
Chiloé is an island located in the X region, south of Puerto Montt. It is reached by ferries, since there is no bridge. The first time I went to Chiloé, was nineteen years old. I went traveling through the island to the southernmost. I interacted with many types of people, for example, fishermen, sailors very peculiar, different from other regions, peasants friendly and talkative, and also many tourists from around the world.
In short, Chiloé is a very special island, so it's my favorite place. It is also one of the reasons why I would like to go to live and work in a little while longer. It's a project I hope to meet in a couple of years.

See you.
